1. Who are we ?
Created in 2016, Ellcie-Healthy is a start-up company born at the instigation of Philippe PEYRARD which develops smart connected glasses. Today, more than twenty people work every day to develop these innovative frames.
The PRUDENSEE device includes the prevention of drowsiness at the wheel, as well as accompanying the user to ensure his safety once a drowsiness alert is detected.
2. Personal information collected
European legislation on the protection of personal data defines personal information as information concerning an “identifiable individual” or as information enabling an individual to be identified. The types of personal information we may collect are different according to the needs.
On the Ellcie Healthy Website, via the contact form:

In addition, in order to ensure the functioning our Ellcie Healthy device, i.e. the prevention of drowsiness through the smart connected glasses and the support of users in the event of a drowsiness alert, we need to collect physical, physiological and environmental data (e.g. accelerometric measurement of head movement such as lateral and vertical movements, frequency and duration of blinks, geolocation via the Smartphone, ambient temperature).
3. The purposes for collecting your personal information
We collect your personal data for the following purposes:
(1) Provide the connected glasses device to help prevent drowsiness at the wheel (Drowsiness prevention + assistance).
If you subscribed to the Ellcie Healthy device, we use the above-mentioned personal information to be able to provide you with our offer in a personalized manner, or to respond to any other request regarding problems with understanding, functioning or bugs in the device.
(2) Process all requests for information
Whether you are a customer or prospect, professional or consumer, we use your personal information to ensure a personalized response that meets your needs
(3) To provide you with information
We may also provide you with various information regarding possible changes to our system.
(4) Other purposes
Also, as required, we may use your personal information for the following purposes:
- Identify errors, fraud, theft and other illegal activities, and verify compliance with Ellcie Healthy’s policies and contractual obligations
- Understand your needs and preferences, especially to communicate with you
- Obtain audited statements on the number of clients by product and service

We may disclose your personal information to the following third parties in the circumstances described below:
(1) Communications to our service provider
We may share your personal information with Europ Assistance France, a subsidiary of Generali, which provides support services for the Ellcie Healthy device.
We will only provide this company with the necessary information to provide the driver assistance service and it is contractually prohibited to use this information for any other purpose.
(2) Communication to our business units
We may share your personal information with any of Ellcie Healthy’s inherent units in order to best meet your requests and ensure the highest quality of service possible.
(3) Law enforcement and disclosure under a law
Ellcie Healthy may disclose your personal data to a government agency that has asserted its lawful authority to obtain the information or to comply with a summons, a warrant or an order of a court, person or competent body requiring the submission of the information, or to comply with a court’s decision regarding the submission of information records.
5. Monitoring your personal information
Ellcie Healthy wants you to be able to maintain control over our use of your personal information.
You always have the choice to ask us not to use your name, address, e-mail address, etc.
However, we may not be able to provide you with our device if you withdraw your consent to our use of your personal information.

You personal information are stored in secured locations on servers controlled by FireBase.Inc that complies with GDPR standards.* To access your personal information, please contact our Data Protection Officer using the contact information provided in the last section of this document.

7. Accessing your personal information
Upon written request, subject to certain exceptions, Ellcie Healthy will inform you of the existence, use and disclosure of your personal data and will allow you to refer to it. You must send your request for consultation to our Data Protection Officer using the contact information provided in the last section of this document.
8. Protection of your personal information
We make every effort to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information under our control. Our security policies are monitored and improved as necessary by our services under the responsibility of the Data Protection Officer.
Only authorized employees and suppliers have access to your personal information. When personal information is sent to a third party for processing purpose (Europ Assistance for the helpdesk), we ensure, on a contractual basis with the third party, that your personal information remains secure. We keep your personal information for the period of time we provide you with our device. We will remove them permanently upon direct request.
We operate secure data networks protected by firewall (software that secures data according to defined standards) and password protection systems.
9. Protecting privacy on our website
When an individual accesses Ellcie Healthy’s websites, we use a browser feature called a “cookie” to collect information such as the type of Internet browser and operating system the visitor uses, the domain name of the websites from which the visitor comes, the date and duration of the visit, the number of visits, the average time spent on our websites, the pages visited and the number of cookies accumulated. A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identification number that identifies the visitor’s browser (without necessarily identifying the visitor). Unless the visitor expressly informs us (e.g. by providing us with his information through the CONTACT form), we will not know the identity of the visitors. We may use this information from our website and share it with other organizations with which we have a business relationship to measure the use of our websites and improve their content.
